1) Carlyne Lynch
6890 Molalla Bend Road,
Wilsonville, OR 97070
Open Studio Activity:
Attendees can finish a holiday element such as Christmas trees, snowflakes and holiday packages. Or with help they can create their own ornament.
Carlyne retired 1 1/2 years ago from Tosoh Quartz, where she worked as an Instructional Designer and Learning Mgt System Administrator. She developed glass machining and glass blowing training for 4+ years. Her students built her a studio at home and she was hooked. She is mostly known for her Oregon Duck beads and quartz golf club earrings. She did a few fusing projects but fell in love with a combination of techniques. Carlyne combines torch work, glass powder, glass pieces, and glass paint to create 5-9 layered pieces.
This coming weekend Carlyne will be at the Charbonneau Art Festival, November 3rd and 4th. Don’t miss Carlyne’s work during the Oregon Glass Guild Open Studio Tour November 10&11 from 10:00 to 4:00 each day. Click this link to see https://www.oregonglassguild.org/2018-map/
