Oregon Glass Guild Members: pick up a few vitrigraph stringers as a thank you!
Carlyne retired 1 1/2 years ago from Tosoh Quartz, where she worked as an Instructional Designer and Learning Management System Administrator. She developed glass machining and glass blowing training for 4+ years. Her students built her a studio at home and she was hooked. She is mostly known for her Oregon Duck beads and quartz golf club earrings. She did a few fusing projects but fell in love with a combination of techniques. Carlyne combines torch work, glass powder, glass pieces, and glass paint to create 5-9 layered pieces.
Carlyne will be at the Charbonneau Art Festival, November 2nd and 3rd. Don’t miss Carlyne’s work during the Oregon Glass Guild Open Studio Tour November 9 & 10th from 10:00 to 4:00 each day.
