    Pate de Verre Play Day at Linda Ethier's Studio-CANCELED!

    Are you interested in creating glass with the pate de verre method?

    Linda Ethier, an expert in pate de verre, will provide the first step in making glass with the pate de verre method. You will experience it by making color samples.  Linda will provide the glass, tools, and molds. She also will fire your samples to be picked up at a later time. The play day is limited to 10 people.Cost is free!  Please RSVP to: info@lindaethier.com. Thank you Linda for opening up your studio to PNWGG members!

    General Meeting: A Can't Miss Opportunity with Evan Burnette - Cancelled

    Local Art Glass, is a 2400 soft glass studio, owned by glass artist, Evan Burnette, in the newly renovated Pickle Factory, on North Columbia Blvd. Evan holds an MFA in glass from Ball State University, and has over twenty years art glass experience. He is a long time member of our Glass Guild. He will be giving an artist talk, followed by a seminar on the basics of kiln casting. This will include the creation of reusable rubber molds, the lost wax process, as well as hand building plaster / silica molds.


    Local Art Glass is located on the second floor of Building B of The Pickle Factory: 866 N. Columbia Blvd. STE B 202 Portland, OR 97217. The Pickle Factory parking lot is accessible via N. Albina. Building B is the large two-story building with the glass vestibule, on westside of the parking lot.
