Charity Stewart is a local glass artist who specializes in fused glass jewelry and home decor. Her love for the medium began at an early age when her grandmother taught her basic stained glass techniques. Filled with the simplicity of childlike wonder, she found herself mesmerized by the interplay of glass, light, and color and has remained so to this day.
Greatly influenced by nature and travels through Italy, Charity’s unique work merges modern design with ancient glassmaking techniques. Tucked away in her Sherwood home studio, tiny pieces of Italian glass are intricately arranged, kiln formed, cold worked then wrapped in precious metals and love. Her hope is to bring a touch of beauty and cheer to your day with each glass design.
