Welcome to the Pacific Northwest Glass Guild (formerly the Oregon Glass Guild) website! Our membership has always had members outside the state of Oregon and now our name reflects our broad membership! Here you’ll find information about us and our activities such as shows, meetings, and classes. Techniques and media used by members include fusing, blowing, casting, painting on and/or with glass, stained glass, acid etching, mosaics, sand carving/sand blasting, coldworking, torchworking, and more. Enjoy browsing our pages to learn more about glass arts, see some of our work, and find upcoming events.

This contest is designed to help keep us motivated as creative artists, encourage us to have some fun with the extra free time many of us have right now, and to ALSO help our newly expanded Pacific NW Glass Guild fund the redesigning of our website to be more updated and user friendly.

  • CELEBRATE our transition and name change from Oregon Glass Guild to the Pacific Northwest Glass Guild with members primarily from the northwestern Untied States and now open to fellow glass artists in British Columbia.
  • CREATE!  Let’s get inspired!  Join us and use this extra time to expand your creativity, inspire yourself and design something special. You may enter either a new piece or share that special piece that has always made you smile.
  • PARTICIPATE!  Entries will be accepted from May 20, 2020 through June 20, 2020.  Anyone in the United States or British Columbia, Canada may enter. Winners will be announced on July 4th.  The judges will be people who have worked in the glass industry for many years.  All entries will be anonymous. See details below about fees and when photos of your artwork will be posted online.
  • PRIZES will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each of the following four categories:
