We are a non-profit membership organization that unites and informs the multi-disciplined art glass community of Oregon and southwest Washington. Techniques and media used by members include fusing, blowing, casting, painting on and/or with glass, stained glass, acid etching, mosaics, sand carving/sand blasting, coldworking, torchworking, and more. A New Name – Needs a New Logo: Logo Design Contest
Every organizational brand carries a message or value proposition to its’ members. We need our name and logo to reflect our membership and values. These ideas must be transformed and highlighted in a NEW logo. What makes a great logo? It is more than just a visual aid it is to give our brand identity. Our logo can establish a strong identity for our organization and expand our brand from Oregon to the Pacific Northwest. RULES LINK

March: Hot Shop Introduction, with host Charlene Fort. What a fabulous opportunity our Guild experienced! Nichols Art Glass Studio in The Dalles hosted 17 of us and demonstrated roll ups and other glass blowing techniques. Lots of car pools participated and Charlene and Andy had a drawing for one of the pieces they made, Leslie Kelly took home the wonderful piece! Go to the photo page for images of this event!
February: A special thanks to Carlyne Lynch, for hosting OGG for our February meeting, at her studio. The meeting included a torch demonstration and equipment tips.
January: A special thanks to Melt Glass, in Vancouver, for hosting OGG for our January meeting, at their great glass shop. We particularly welcomed the group of artists who meet monthly in Vancouver!! The meeting included a demonstration by Murrini Man and we also had a great “glass discussion” at the end.
