My forest series is a return to some of my designs
as a fiber artist. The Northwest has spectacular forests
that
are a constant source of inspiration, awe, and magic
for me. This vessel was approximately 20" in
diameter, with organic edges (not perfectly round)
before slumping/draping
over a form. Process was random shapes & sizes
of varying colors placed rhythmically into a specific
design. Lots of detail & surprises in this piece.
