This
was a clay piece I did of Ganges Khan when a guild member
wanted an oriental man and woman head to check. I poured
a plaster mold, scraped off the helmet and cut in hair
lines. The piece was approximately 20"x20". This
is a piece where I tried to incorproate the clay mold
into the glass. It took numerous tries and line drawing
to anticipate pinch points which were causing me fits.
The blue was cut to frame the mold and the clear was
an overlay to encase the the entire body of work. This
was my first learning experience
with glass and clay.
